Neymar frankly said the reason why PSG has Messi is still not C1, Mbappe is partly responsible

Last summer, Messi said goodbye to PSG to move to Inter Miami. The departure of M10 means that the era of the MMN trio has also ended without bringing a Champions League title to the club.

Worse, in two consecutive seasons playing together, they were also eliminated in the round of 16 against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. The poor performances of the MMN trio in the European arena were later criticized a lot.

Even part of the trio, Neymar, admitted that PSG’s defeat in the Champions League was partly responsible for him and his two associates.

“PSG has a very strong squad. Me, Messi and Mbappe are the three best players in the world, we know that. But unfortunately we can’t get along, that’s not good for the team.

Obviously we want to win everything, we are very close in the dressing room, but that is not enough. Football is not always fair. It’s not like making a cake according to the recipe,” Neymar shared on the YouTube channel of streamer Casimiro Miguel.

In fact, for two consecutive years playing together in the C1 Cup, the trio of Messi – Neymar – Mbappe have never reached a high point of falling. In the 2021/22 season, Neymar is a downer, Messi has not yet integrated and only Mbappe is not enough.

In the 2022/23 season, in the match against Bayern in the round of 16, in the first leg they did not have a healthy Mbappe, in the second leg they lost Neymar and Messi was completely blocked. It can be said that this trio has never shone as expected of fans in big matches.

Not to mention that the conflicts behind the scenes between Mbappe and the two seniors in the past are also said to be the reason why the MMN trio could not be successful. Now, the famous trio of PSG has only two, even only Neymar left when Mbappe is expected to be sold because he refuses to renew his contract.
