While Lionel Messi is overseas with the Argentina national soccer team, his wife Antonela has been working out at her new Miami gym, The Glute Lab.
They were joined by Elena Galera, Sergio Busquets’s wife and a friend the couple made during their time living in Barcelona.Galera posted a mirror image of herself and Roccuzzo, 35, working out at a Miami gym, and she tagged world-famous personal trainer Bret Conteras.
Since arriving to the United States, Contreras has been working out at the ‘Glute Lab,’ also known as the ‘Glute House,’ a facility in Miami that has been featured in earlier posts by Roccuzzo.Known as “the glute guy,” Conteras publishes “Booty by Bret,” a website that instructs readers on how to “build your booty” in as little as three hours per week.
Both his personal and professional Instagram accounts (he uses the handle @BootybyBretofficial) are stuffed with tips for staying in shape.It has also been revealed that Messi and Antonela have purchased a large, brand-new mansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for the sum of $10.75 million. The mansion contains 10 bedrooms, a spa, two boat docks, and a swimming pool.
Since joining Inter Miami in the summer, the Argentine superstar — who signed a two-and-a-half-year contract worth $50-60m a season in Major League Soccer — has been aiming to increase his real estate holdings.
He was already the proud owner of a $9 million Miami penthouse and, according to sources, two more condos in Sunny Isles Beach, but he had recently been seen house hunting in the Boca Raton region with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their son Thiago.
To the north of Fort Lauderdale in a gated enclave called Bay Colony is a collection of floating neighborhoods that Messi has just approved. The home is 10,500 square feet.
Messi will suit up for Argentina in a World Cup qualifier against Bolivia on Tuesday, and then fly back to the United States in time to play in Miami’s MLS match against Atlanta United on Saturday.
