Messi, 35, has announced that he has chosen to join owner David Beckham’s club, Inter Miami, after his contract with French champions PSG expires at the end of this month.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN (Brazil), Neymar confirmed he knew about Messi’s departure: “I know it. Messi is one of my best friends. It is a gift that football has given me to have the opportunity to meet, play with him and establish such a beautiful friendship.

The Brazilian and Messi’s former teammate at Barcelona and PSG, Neymar cheered on basketball player Jimmy Butler in Florida ahead of the Game 4 final of the NBA.
Butler, a six-time NBA All-Star champion, shares the same comments as Neymar and is excited about Messi’s move to Inter Miami and insists the Argentinian World Cup champion will do many good things for American football. .
